Seasonal Greenkeeper

The successful candidate will report to the Head Greenkeeper and work within the existing team to carry out all tasks to the highest standard possible.

The successful candidate must show a first-class attitude towards his / her work. Show initiative with a keen eye for attention to detail. They must be flexible regarding weekend work as it is a regular feature of the job. Maintain a high standard of time keeping and attendance. Having a keen interest in golf is also a great benefit.

What we are looking for: 

To set up the golf course, raking bunkers, strimming, divoting and all-round Maintenance of the course to agreed standards. Maintain the overall appearance and condition of the golf course and grounds. Adhere to health and safety measures provided by the head greenkeeper. A full driving license required. Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions. A good knowledge of golf. No qualifications needed. Ensure equipment and premises are maintained in a clean working order. Positive working relationships to be establishes and maintained throughout the resort. To ensure Procedures and legal requirements pertaining to fire, safety, hygiene and security to be adhered to at all times. To ensure all safeguarding procedures and provisions are adhered to with regards to professional standards. Attend all training in line with Health and Safety and all other safe working practices. Ensure all relevant documentation in line with Health and Safety and safe working practice is completed in a timely fashion. To be able to work effectively in a team and individually.
