The Job
The Biscuit Factory is the UK's largest art, craft and design gallery, with an onsite café and multipurpose event and venue hire facilities. In 2024 we opened The Garden Room which has become a locally sought-after wedding venue in the area, and added to our portfolio of individually designed events spaces to accommodate everything from small corporate meetings for 8 up to large dinners for up to 300.
As Events & Weddings Coordinator you will be tasked with managing all types of events we host, across private and corporate events and weddings. As such you will have a passion for the broad event sector, be personable and professional with the ability to build rapport with prospective clients as necessary. This position exists to ensure that an excellent experience is achieved for all clients who enquire or proceed to book an event at The Biscuit Factory. Professionalism and personality is paramount at all times to maintain the reputation of The Biscuit Factory as a first class wedding and events service.
You will play a pivotal role within the Events Team, working to maximise venue hire sales with a specific focus on increasing event bookings and selling all spaces across the venue, whilst supporting other events management as required, balancing floor operations with administrational duties and utilising a high degree of organisational skills to ensure the smooth running of all bookings. We are a small team and you must have the confidence and knowledge to 'hit the ground running' in a fast paced, unique and highly respected venue.
