PURPOSE OF ROLE

Your role is to support the safe, efficient and welcoming delivery of visitor operations across Kynren – The Storied Lands. Working across ticket check points, attractions, car parks, food and beverage outlets, and retail areas, you will help deliver a seamless visitor experience while maintaining high standards of customer service, safety, and overall operational readiness.

You will welcome visitors, check tickets, facilitate purchases, assist with guest enquiries and support the smooth operation of attractions and service areas. This role requires professionalism, situational awareness and a positive approach to guest engagement within a dynamic live environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Embody the Kynren Spirit at all times, maintaining professionalism, positivity and a genuine smile in every interaction.

Visitor Experience

  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, delivering excellent guest service throughout the park.
  • Assist guests with enquiries, directions and accessibility needs where required.
  • Support the efficient movement of guests through ticket checks, attractions and service areas.
  • Monitor queue lines and guest flow to ensure safe capacities and a positive visitor experience.
  • Facilitate the safe ingress and egress of attractions in accordance with operational procedures and training.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, escalating to supervisors where necessary.

Food, Beverage and Retail

  • Utilise electronic till systems to facilitate the sale of products.
  • Serve food and beverage items to guests in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
  • Maintain legal compliance during the sale of alcohol, including adherence to Challenge 25 procedures.
  • Monitor cleanliness within service areas, ensuring good housekeeping and food hygiene practices, including following temperature checking procedures.
  • Restock service areas before, during and after service, prioritising critical items.
  • Ensure stock rotation procedures are followed and products are appropriately date-checked.
  • Report damages, low stock levels or customer issues to a line manager promptly.

Park Operations

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation across guest-facing areas.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support smooth park operations.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for visitors and colleagues.

Other Duties

  • To undertake any other duties which may reasonably be required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • A passion for the visitor experience and ability to prioritise guest satisfaction and safety.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a confident and approachable manner.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact clearly and professionally with guests.
  • Willingness to undertake physical work, including outdoor duties, cleaning and manual handling tasks.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or high-pressure environments.
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in visitor attractions, hospitality, theme parks or events environments.
  • A Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety qualification, or willingness to undertake training.
  • Experience operating activity-based attractions or public-facing experiences.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practice within a visitor attraction setting.
